Stayed here for 6 nights during my birthday trip to California and I was so happy we chose this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, including AC, a TV and a kitchenette. The location was great, parking was easy and the pool was a perfect place to relax. I loved the beach-inspired décor throughout the lobby, it really gave the hotel a coastal California feel. Breakfast was also pretty decent for being included. I do wish they served bacon though... The outdoor barbecue and fire pit area were a great touch for relaxing in the evenings. Looked so beautiful. Everyone I met was incredibly friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming, which made my trip even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Los Angeles, California.

Stayed here with family as we had an early flight at LAX. Rooms were clean. It is next to a library. Parking wasn't an issue. Can't comment on price as I used marriott points. Why 4 stars instead of 5? 1) The breakfast could have been better. The only hot item was biscuit sandwich and sausage. 2) This hotel probably has a lot of LAX guests. I asked if they had a luggage scale or a scale at the gym...they said no. Come on. They should keep one at the front desk and have guests bring out luggage to check. 3) I went to the wrong entrance at first....this place shares the same building with a Courtyard. The front desk said i booked with Towneplace. She was nice. I went to the Towneplace counter the the guy wasn't friendly at all. 4) You also need a key to open the hotel doors which I felt was unnecessary for it being 8PM. Kinda annoying as we brought in luggage as I was checking in and my family didn't have the key and had to wave to the front desk person each time. 5) Our room had 3 bath towels. I booked for 5 people (with children). I've never seen a place that had less than 4? 6) The previous guest set an alarm for 6AM....wasn't fun. House keeping should check for alarms? I would come back if I need a place to stay as it met my needs despite the major annoyances.

2 Star hotel that punches above its weight. We stayed here for a week while visiting LA. The hotel is fairly new being built a little over 3 years ago, and still feels new. Rooms were larger than we expected which was a delight. Beds as mentioned by others was very comfortable and we never had a bad sleep, however pillows might be a hit or miss depending on your personal preference. If you're picky, bring your own pillow. We rented a 2 queen bed room with a pull out couch bed. The sofa bed had little or no padding and wasn't very good. Added the sofa seats on top to make my son a comfortable place to sleep fixed that issue. Staff was very friendly and courteous, we had a issue with the garburator and there was someone at the room within minutes. This is fantastic service. Breakfast was no frills and will feed your childs stomachs, but don't expect anything fancy. Luckily there are plenty of breakfast options nearby if you don't like what's offered, that's what we did. With that being said, the coffee was fantastic and I drank it twice everyday. Didn't even bother to go to the nearby Starbucks, it was that good. There is a pool and hot tub outside which we used once, there was the occasional loud party out there, but that's expected with this hotel catering to families and kids. Speaking of kids, don't be alarmed if you hear sprinters in training on the floor above you, kids will be kids. There is a 18 dollar a day parking fee, but that didn't seem to bother many as the lot was almost completely full by 10PM each night, regardless of day. The area is quite safe with City hall across the street, and the Police HQ just beside that. Please note there is no Shuttle anymore, you will have to take an Uber or Taxi from LAX which will cost you around $25 each way. To the staff of Townplace Suites, to the maids, front desk, maintenance workers, and engineers, thank you, all of you were wonderful and deserve our thanks.

We stayed at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Hawthorne/LAX from Thursday through Monday and had a wonderful vacation. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Any request we had was handled quickly. We asked for extra towels, and they were delivered to our room within five minutes, which we really appreciated. The complimentary breakfast was consistently fresh and delicious each morning. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, the coffee was excellent, and it was the perfect way to start our day. We also spent time at the pool, which was clean and well maintained. The pool towels were regularly restocked by a friendly staff member, making the experience even more enjoyable. We ordered food from the hotel during our stay, and it exceeded our expectations. Our son ordered the hamburger, and it was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The location was another highlight. It was conveniently located for exploring Southern California, with easy access to Santa Monica, the Griffith Observatory, and Disneyland. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly return. We highly recommend TownePlace Suites to anyone looking for comfortable accommodations, great service, and a convenient location.

Great location and staff. No complaints here. The location is nice and easy access to the airport. Parking has a daily fee and is to be expect in the area. Clean rooms and they have kitchenettes with Microwave, Refrigerator and an electric stove.
